Infotec displays in Birmingham New Street served as a great catwalk backdrop!
Infotec’s passenger information displays are seen in a wide range of locations around the world and sometimes for reasons not directly related to providing passenger information – the Royal Opera House, The Science Museum and on fictional TV sets among these.
This week has seen us achieve another unusual first – with our displays providing a perfect backdrop for a fashion show in Birmingham New Street Station.
Fresh from the catwalk at London’s Graduate Fashion Week, collections by BA (Hons) Fashion Design graduates from Birmingham City University (BCU) took to the runway in New Street Station, with Infotec displays overhead.
Directed by the internationally acclaimed Birmingham City University alumnus Lee Lapthorne, the catwalk featured a dozen collections of high-end fashion produced by BCU students.
They looked amazing – and we think our passenger information displays, recently upgraded to provide even more details to travellers, looked pretty chic too!
