Britain's largest and clearest displays

These latest RGB LED displays are made up of IP65 LED video wall tiles utilising fine 2.9 and 3.9mm LED pitches. They provide a balance in terms of price, power consumption and resolution. The displays feature a patented carbon fibre construction that makes for an extremely lightweight, low-profile and strong IP65-rated solution for the challenging concourse environment.

The displays are controlled by Infotec’s own CMS system, Javelin, and data is provided directly by Worldline via IoT/MQTT using Infotec Apion Smart Broker technology. This allows station operation teams to manage a multitude of features for the presentation of differing data and templates to handle a variety of operational scenarios.

Using Infotec’s Tetrus control system in conjunction with Infotec tsPlayer software offers the client a unique robust solution for train running and secondary content. The system has pixel perfect control over the RGB display, ensuring rendering, fonts and animations are best in class.

The modular construction ensures these displays can be quickly installed and maintained, minimising passenger disruption.

The giant 5m by 2.5m full-colour LED display at London Victoria is situated above the metro concourse, providing passengers with clearer information than ever before. Infotec helped manage the installation with Network Rail’s contracted installation team.

The slightly smaller format version has also been installed on the main concourse at London Waterloo.

The displays allow for more information to be presented and in addition to regular departures information can show platform guidance, safety messages and network disruption information, all in real-time.  They are also capable of running animations, video content and other colourful graphics.
