Business Development Account Manager

 

The role

·         The Business Development Manager will be responsible for helping our efforts in establishing and retaining business growth opportunities.

·         Includes account management of Infotec’s existing clients, retaining its strong market share, and maintaining and developing customer relationships.

·         You will:

o    Be responsible for developing and maintaining account plans to analyse market patterns and key opportunities.

o    Understand our customer challenges and competitors to develop sales strategies with the sales team to maximise opportunities.

o    Seek out new opportunities within the transport sector using your drive, energy and initiative to develop new clients and foster business relationships to increase sales revenue.

·         The Business Development Manager role is an integral part of the business with a level of influence regarding our strategic sales and marketing direction as well as influencing the company and group wide product development.

·         Develop and maintain sales forecast data in support of the sales team and business management.

 

This role would suit someone who:

·         A candidate that aspires to grow within the sales team as there are opportunities for career progression.

·         Experience in the rail market or similar transport markets.

·         Experience in a business development and account management role.

·         Proven track record of achieving targets and driving new sales growth from conception to close.

·         Have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with clients face to face and in writing.

·         A team player but also able to work independently and be self-driven.

·         IT literate, strong knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

·         Will be excited by selling into existing & new markets, strategising next steps, negotiating complex deals and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.

·         The position is home based but attendance to the head office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch will be required weekly or when requested.

·         A full driving licence is required.
