Audio Text-To-Speech [TTS] – Consistent Output
Infotec offer TTS as an option on its displays. It is usually most applicable to “next service indicators” such as those found on rail platform, bus shelters and interchange bays. The displays carry embedded amplifiers and use the same data feed as the display to generate an audio output. Using a powerful TTS engine to convert the data, Infotec removes the need for the pre-recording of messages. This approach provides a cost-effective on-station or on-vehicle solution with consistent output across a wide variety of transport sectors.
WebCIS – An on-line, real-time CIS solution
Infotec has developed WebCIS to provide true real-time output for display on web pages and mobile devices. It can be connected to Infotec’s AIM content management system to provide additional content such as disruption notices, onward travel options, planned engineering works, general service information, security alerts, RSS Feeds for news, weather, etc as well as for marketing or advertising material.
Steelwork
The vast majority of displays in this brochure use support structures that have been designed, strength calculated and manufactured by Infotec. These designs now form the backbone of a range of available interface support structures. These include gallows posts, girder mounted canopy brackets, wall brackets and interface structures to existing steelwork. Infotec offers a full site survey, design, drawing and strength calculation service for the creation of bespoke interface brackets where standard designs cannot be used.
System Design & Development
Infotec’s display range is fully designed and developed at its headquarters, allowing adaption of its displays and systems to be easily achieved to meet customer needs. This can make the difference between a viable and a non-viable project at minimal additional cost.
Project Management
Infotec’s Project Managers have many years of experience in specifying, designing and installing CIS systems. This ensures displays are installed effectively, efficiently and working first time. Infotec’s projects team prides itself on helping its customers to see projects through to a successful conclusion.
EMC Testing
Infotec has invested in its own Fully-Anechoic Chamber (FAC), allowing it to test its equipment to internationally accepted electrical noise criteria. Having the chamber also allows Infotec to test sub-assemblies prior to them being incorporated into final equipment, allows samples from production batches to be checked for compliance and is ideal for type testing of new designs.
